Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Node.js Developer to design microservices and REST APIs in a serverless AWS environment, supporting cloud-native solutions for large asset management workloads.

You will analyze legacy applications, modernize architectures, and build Angular front-ends while integrating with AWS-backed services. Collaboration across cross-functional teams and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of professional development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Node.js development and microservices.
• Experience designing REST APIs and frontend applications.
• Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, S3.
• Knowledge of Angular frontend development and basic Java connectivity.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills; agile mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs in Node.js.
• Build front-end applications using Angular and integrate with cloud-native backends.
• Analyze legacy apps and define target state architecture for modernization.
• Implement solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with Database, CTO, and API Economy teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Take ownership from ideation through post-production support.
