Job summary

Innovativesol 2 is seeking a Software Development Architect to design and lead cloud-native solutions on AWS. You’ll drive microservices, serverless APIs, and modernization programs, advising clients and mentoring engineering teams.

You will guide technical strategy, review code, and ensure strong architectural standards while collaborating with sales and solution teams to scope projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of application development experience with 4+ years in senior/lead architect roles.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional cert or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficient in backend languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native patterns: microservices, serverless, containers.
• Hands-on with Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions.
• Strong CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure cloud-native applications that meet client requirements.
• Lead architecture design, create patterns, and document standards.
• Develop standardized frameworks and templates for projects.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture reviews with clients.
• Provide hands-on development leadership for complex projects.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Serve as primary technical consultant for engagements.
• Create modernization roadmaps and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales to scope projects and provide estimates.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and with quality.
• Balance hands-on work with architectural oversight and mentoring.
