in Wisconsin seeks a Software Engineer with strong AWS and .NET expertise to design, develop, deploy, and support business-critical applications and cloud-based services across the full application lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to cloud modernization efforts, while implementing secure coding practices.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience spanning analysis, design, testing, deployment, and production support.
Experience developing and supporting .NET-based web applications and services.
Experience working in cloud-based environments.
SDLC methodologies and best practices familiar.
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs assigned programming tasks related to new development or maintenance on assigned websites or applications.
Analyzes user needs and impact to other site areas to determine technical requirements of assigned tasks.
Promotes quality practices by performing unit testing and supporting user acceptance testing as needed.
Follows secure coding standards and incorporates security-by-design principles.
Adheres to OWASP best practices to reduce common security risks.
Maintains accurate technical documentation for assigned projects.
Acts as a support resource for the technical staff to address customer-reported issues efficiently.
Performs lead developer role on assigned projects.
Interfaces with Website and Database Administrators for server/database coordination and moves.
Maintains understanding of tools and trends for potential impact on the department.
