Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior Java/Spring Boot architect in the United States, with extensive experience in microservices and enterprise integration patterns. You will design RESTful APIs, implement event-driven architectures with Kafka, and drive cloud transformations on AWS.

Lead onshore/offshore teams, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, secure delivery across the SDLC. Strong communication and leadership are essential, along with hands-on delivery and architectural

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot with hands-on experience across Spring ecosystem.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices with Kafka-based event streams.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, CI/CD, and scalable secure architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem.
• Lead architecture and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices with event-driven patterns using Apache Kafka.
• Own architectures translating complex business needs into scalable, secure solutions.
• Apply GoF and enterprise design patterns to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in the full SDLC including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Drive cloud transformation on AWS and design CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.
• Build and manage high-volume batch processing with Spring Batch and scheduling workflows.
• Conduct code reviews ensuring architectural standards and acceptance criteria.
