Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and develop cloud-centric, distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Docker, and AWS/ECS/EKS. You will work in an agile team delivering REST APIs and leveraging modern cloud-native tooling.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, TDD, CI/CD with Terraform/Jenkins, and monitoring with Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana, in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with complex architectural designs and technology initiatives.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Hands-on experience with REST API development using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js
• Docker containerization (ECS, EKS)
• GitHub repository management
• Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-based and distributed system capabilities for enterprise digital operations.
• Implement solutions using modern software development practices, cloud-native tooling, and enterprise development frameworks.
• Develop REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and deploy solutions on ECS or EKS.
• Collaborate within agile development teams and contribute to iterative software delivery.
• Apply Test Driven Development practices to build reliable and maintainable code.
• Integrate backend services with PostgreSQL and manage code through GitHub.
• Utilize support tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana to monitor and troubleshoot applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of new technology trends.
