Job summary

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks DevOps Engineer Specialists in Jacksonville, FL to work throughout the software development life cycle and perform in a utility capacity to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 6 years of progressive experience.
• Experience with Automation Scripting using Python and Groovy.
• Proven DevOps engineering background and cloud technology experience (AWS).
• Experience with AWS services: EC2, RDS, EFS, EKS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, Route 53.
• Proficient in Python and Shell/Bash; familiar with Go.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Argo CD, and version control.
• Experience with Linux-based OS (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL).
• Hands-on with MySQL and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Salt Stack).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; development tools Eclipse/Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with logging (Syslog-ng, Splunk) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager).
• Telecommuting/work-from-home may be allowed under policy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development life cycle.
• Automate cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance, monitor and alerting capabilities.
• Own DevOps aspects, CI/CD, and platform responsibilities.
• Work with AWS services and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Develop solutions to automate workload deployments and support developer/tester experiences.
• Contribute to modernization efforts for cloud platforms (AWS).
