Job summary
Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Senior Data Migration Engineer to drive on-site modernization efforts in Huntsville, AL. You will lead large-scale ETL/ELT data migrations, design transformation logic, and ensure data integrity across federal systems.
Collaborating with Cloud, DevSecOps, Data Engineers, QA, and Product Owners, you will mentor mid-level engineers, develop migration best practices, and manage risk to ensure secure, scalable cloud architectures. Active TS clearance required.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data migration, ETL/ELT development, or large-scale data modernization.
- Experience designing and maintaining advanced ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud migration solutions.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, optimization, and execution of ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data migration.
- Design data mapping frameworks, transformation logic, and migration strategies for legacy-to-cloud transitions.
- Conduct data integrity analysis, anomaly detection, validation testing, and remediation to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, DevSecOps, Data Engineers, QA, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and develop migration best practices and documentation.
