Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Data Migration Engineer to support federal modernization, cloud transformation, and mission-critical technology initiatives. This on-site role is in Huntsville, AL and focuses on ETL pipelines, data quality, and high-impact national missions.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in data migration/ETL, strong data engineering skills, and an Active Top Secret Clearance, with experience in AWS and cloud-based data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data migration, ETL, or data engineering with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Hands-on data mapping, cleansing, normalization, validation, and quality checks.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support ETL workflows and migration pipelines to extract/transform/load data from legacy systems to cloud.
• Collaborate with data engineers, DevSecOps, QA, and cloud architects to validate source and target environments.
• Maintain migration documentation including ETL workflows, schemas, mappings, and risks.
• Participate in migration testing, reviews, data validation checkpoints, and issue resolution.
