Job summary

State of OK is seeking a Business Analyst for a 5-7 year contract to support a modernization initiative. The role focuses on gathering requirements, mapping processes, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions across Azure, REST APIs, and Power BI.

Responsibilities include documenting current and future state processes, coordinating with developers and stakeholders, and guiding UAT to ensure successful delivery while maintaining strict security and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and mapping business requirements during large-scale enterprise cloud migrations (Azure preferred).
• Expertise in dissecting legacy applications to extract business rules for modern architectures.
• Proven ability to identify bottlenecks and convert manual processes into automated workflows.
• Experience defining requirements for document storage, capture, and workflow management systems.
• Hands-on SDLC governance and project chartering in mixed legacy/modern environments.
• Ability to lead JAD sessions, manage UAT, and ensure security and resilience standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business units to understand workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
• Interface with IT staff to translate technical requirements into actionable items.
• Document current state processes using process maps and swimlane diagrams.
• Facilitate discussions to define future state processes aligned with goals.
