Business Analyst – Enterprise Cloud Modernization

Job summary

Olik Global is seeking a Business Analyst to lead a State of Oklahoma modernization effort in Oklahoma City, with some travel to the office and no travel reimbursement. The role targets enterprise-scale analysis, requirements, and documentation for a modern stack (Angular, REST APIs, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Power BI).

The ideal candidate will gather business needs, map processes, write user stories, and drive testing and UAT while ensuring security and accessibility compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and mapping business requirements during large-scale enterprise cloud migrations (Azure preferred).
• Experience dissecting legacy applications to extract business rules and map to modern architectures.
• Proven ability to identify bottlenecks and automate workflows for improved turnaround times.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business units to understand workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
• Interface with IT staff to translate technical requirements.
• Document current state processes with process maps, swimlanes, and workflow charts.
• Facilitate discussions to define future state processes aligned with goals.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and Azure DevOps work items/user stories.
• Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, testable, and prioritized.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Develop test plans, scripts, and instructions for functional and UAT testing.
• Execute functional testing and coordinate defect tracking and fixes.
• Coordinate or lead UAT sessions with business stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams, communicating updates, risks, and issues.
• Support change management with training materials and user guidance.
