Revolution Technologies in the United States is seeking an experienced Sr. Cloud Developer to lead design, development, modernization, and deployment of enterprise cloud applications.

This role blends hands-on Java full-stack development with cloud engineering and technical leadership. You will drive cloud-native and cloud-modernized projects on AWS or Azure, mentor teams, implement secure architectures with IAM and mTLS, and contribute to DevSecOps pipelines, observability, and compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in application development, systems testing, or related IT discipline.
• Experience in Agile and Medicare environments.
• Hands-on AWS or Azure including migration, lift-and-shift, or modernization.
• Designing high-availability and fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience with mTLS, certificate lifecycle, identity, and security.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, DevSecOps, monitoring, and observability.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP security/compliance.
• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Strong communication and technical leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, integration, and deployment of cloud-native and cloud-modernized apps.
• Support lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and modernization initiatives in AWS or Azure.
• Partner with cloud architects to design resilient, scalable, fault-tolerant solutions.
• Design and integrate APIs and cloud services; provide technical guidance on infra decisions.
• Implement secure architectures with mTLS, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
• Develop and support solutions using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Implement observability and monitoring with Splunk, CloudWatch, and X-Ray.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates.
• Build CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Incorporate security/compliance requirements (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP) into practice.
• Support accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
• Review code, establish standards, troubleshoot, and ensure production stability.
• Mentor developers; collaborate across architecture, security, testing, and business teams.
• Participate in Agile delivery and support project timelines, including overtime when needed.
