Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience working in C++, Python, Go, or a similar language.
• 2 years of experience with network architectures, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP), and technologies.
• 2 years of experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization with cross-functional projects.
• 1 year of diagnosing OS or networking protocols.
• Experience with Java or Go, and static/dynamic backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve systems that connect customer networks to Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with teams across Google to create and launch new products and features.
• Deliver high-quality code and maintainables artifacts with proper testing and documentation.
