Job summary

Google Cloud's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information. You will work on scalable, distributed software systems that configure and control our global networks.

In this role you will drive progress, mentor teammates, and tackle complex networking challenges, including gRPC and Protocol Buffers. The position offers opportunities across Google Cloud projects and a path to leadership as you grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in C++, Python, Go or similar language.
• 2 years of experience with network architectures, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP).
• 2 years of experience with network design, implementation, troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve systems that connect customer networks to Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with different teams across Google to create and launch new products and features.
• Produce completed work of high quality with well-factored, testable code and good documentation.
