Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in Go or Python, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 5 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
• 5 years of experience building and managing distributed software systems and infrastructure.
• Master’s degree or PhD in CS or a related field.
• 5 years of experience with performance, large-scale data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms in academic or industry settings.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems and diagnosing network issues with debugging tools (e.g., PCAP analysis).
• Knowledge of Google technologies and infrastructure including networking, security, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code and review others’ work for quality and standards.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content; update with product changes.
• Triage issues and debug/resolve impacts on hardware, network, or service operations.
• Implement high-quality solutions using Go, C++, Python, and more.
• Design reliable and performant solutions for Cloud Networking Security products.
