Job summary

WorkScoop is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to support and advance our infrastructure services. You will evaluate, install, configure, and maintain infrastructure software and hardware, and manage our flagship infrastructure management tools.

You will coordinate testing, integrate multiple systems, review network requirements, and ensure capacity. You will provide expert problem determination and guide recovery efforts, including disaster recovery design and execution.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in development or selection, evaluation, modification, installation, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure software and hardware, and infrastructure management software.
• Responsible for integration and testing of numerous network infrastructure management systems and tools to provide a unified infrastructure service.
• Reviews and analyzes network requirements for capabilities of new systems and ensures sufficient functionality and computing capacity will be provided.
• Provides expert level guidance on problem determination and coordinates resolution of major systems software and hardware problems. Employs sophisticated problem analysis, resolution techniques and state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic technologies as well as disaster recovery technologies and design considerations. Determines area of problem responsibility and coordinates vendor involvement when appropriate, and determines the most efficient and effective method of recovery after system problems or failure.
