Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle, WA is seeking a Materials Manager to lead inventory management, develop analytical tools, and drive supply chain strategies across internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong procurement, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

You will design scalable tools, communicate priorities, and manage multiple projects while facing tight deadlines and changing requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related technical field.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.

Responsibilities

• Create and clearly communicate supply schedules, priorities, and status to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
• Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
• Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities.
