Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Technology Operational Risk Management Executive Director to provide independent oversight of risk for cloud and infrastructure platforms. You will partner with technology and cybersecurity to review how solutions are developed, deployed, and operated, and assess control effectiveness across the firm.

You will identify emerging risks, recommend control enhancements, and support the CCOR Tech & Cyber framework through risk assessment and reporting.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expertise in infrastructure and cloud technology domains.
• Hands-on experience across enterprise infrastructure components (network, compute, storage, database, messaging) in on-prem and cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance practices, including IAM, encryption and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation tools (CloudFormation, ARM, Deployment Manager, Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including change management and secure pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, SLO/SLI concepts and operational health reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent reviews of technology and cybersecurity processes and controls supporting cloud use.
• Assess operational risk for infrastructure and cloud platforms and supporting systems.
• Engage with technology teams to map data flows and control environments.
• Evaluate third-party risks related to technology providers and dependencies.
• Identify elevated risk concentrations and assess mitigating controls.
• Recommend control enhancements to align with company policies and industry norms.
• Track technology trends and emerging risks to inform risk assessments.
• Provide guidance on control design, implementation, and effectiveness.
• Support CCOR Tech & Cyber framework implementation and governance.
