Job summary

AvePoint seeks a hands-on cloud infrastructure leader to own strategy, roadmap, and execution for the IaaS/PaaS data protection portfolio across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will align cloud architecture with backup, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and SaaS outcomes, working with principal architects, engineers, customers, and partners.

The role requires 6+ years in cloud infrastructure, deep hyperscaler expertise, and strong automation skills.

Qualifications

6+ years in B2B technology, cloud infrastructure, or related field.
Hands-on production cloud experience across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
Deep expertise in at least one hyperscaler with transferable knowledge of others.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Lead technical product decisions with Architecture and Engineering on cloud APIs, snapshots, IAM, networking, encryption, and KMS.
Set roadmap and coverage across Azure, AWS, and GCP with protection scope for each service.
Shape SaaS architecture including control/data planes, data movement, and cost optimization.
Drive cyber resilience with immutability, ransomware protection, and recovery validation.
Evaluate third-party protections and hyperscaler-native capabilities for competitive direction.
Translate customer needs into requirements, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
Measure workload coverage, backup reliability, and cost-to-serve to guide investments.
Communicate priorities and risks clearly to engineers, executives, customers, and partners.
Collaborate on launches, pricing guidance, enablement, and MSP programs.
