Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering & Cloud Platforms Manager in Wickliffe, OH. You will lead cloud and hybrid infrastructure platform engineering, establish automation and identity integration, and drive modernization initiatives across the enterprise.

You will mentor a team of IT professionals, develop cost models for projects, and collaborate with business units to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, or architecture with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, identity, and automation technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and infrastructure management platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating IT projects across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, guiding delivery and fostering innovation.
• Design and implement cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms aligned with enterprise standards.
• Define architecture patterns, cloud foundations, and automation frameworks for scalable infrastructure.
• Develop cost assessments for infrastructure projects and manage costs.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement systems aligned with objectives.
• Implement security controls and stay current on threats and best practices.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with service providers for high availability.
• Support cloud adoption and infrastructure modernization through standardized services.
• Define Infrastructure-as-Code, automation-first delivery models, and reusable patterns.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend impactful solutions.
