Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company in Portland, OR is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering & FinOps to lead the strategy, delivery, and financial stewardship of our cloud environment across Azure, AWS, and hybrid deployments.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, partner with Architecture, Security, and Finance to design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions, and drive governance and automation to enable global growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of people leadership developing engineers, technical leads, or managers.
• Experience owning or influencing cloud financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, optimization, consumption management, and executive reporting.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, identity and access management, security controls, and platform governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure engineering across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Define and execute the cloud infrastructure roadmap supporting modernization and digital transformation.
• Partner with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Finance teams to design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Build and mature FinOps capabilities, including cloud cost visibility, forecasting, optimization, allocation, governance, and executive reporting.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leaders on cloud architecture decisions, capacity planning, and cost management.
• Drive reliability, resiliency, observability, automation, and operational excellence across cloud platforms.
