Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a senior Cloud Engineer to deploy, optimize, and harden cloud infrastructures. You will use scripting and Infrastructure as Code to provision resources and ensure secure, scalable services for clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document best practices, and translate high-level objectives into concrete cloud designs and operational support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• CSP Associate cloud certification in AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• 3–4 years cloud engineering experience with vendor platforms.
• 4+ years experience debugging Windows or Linux in admin/support/engineering roles.
• 8–15 years of IT experience with a mix of roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy cloud-based computing services at scale for clients and provide provisioning of new hosts.
• Formulate network, storage, and compute design specs for stable and secure cloud operations.
• Manage cloud services: IAM, Security Groups, and CSP native services.
• Use Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices to create and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop scripts and templates for provisioning and configuring resources.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to translate objectives into technical requirements.
• Review deployment requirements with project teams for ongoing support.
• Document best practices for server infrastructure and cloud operations.
• Serve as liaison with clients to ensure needs are met.
• Identify and plan potential new cloud services and features.
