Simplify Software Experts LLC / Simpli Software Solutions Inc is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform. This long-term, hybrid role in Delaware offers hands-on work with secure, cost-efficient cloud architectures.

You'll manage multi-account environments, implement security controls, and integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines while mentoring junior engineers and documenting standards and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
• 3+ years hands-on Terraform in production.
• Strong understanding of Core Java (8/7/21).
• Proficiency with AWS core services and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Build and maintain reusable, versioned Terraform modules.
• Manage Terraform state securely (S3 backend, DynamoDB or native locking).
• Provision and manage AWS services (VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines with automated plan, validate, and apply workflows.
• Implement security and compliance controls: least-privilege IAM, encryption, security groups, KMS, and policy-as-code.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost.
• Manage multi-account AWS environments (AWS Organizations, Control Tower).
• Detect and remediate configuration drift, and support Terraform upgrades.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and mentor junior engineers.
• Document architecture, standards, and runbooks.
