Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise cloud and on-prem infrastructure. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable systems, leveraging automation tools like Ansible to streamline provisioning and patching across large environments.

The role requires Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI, and hands-on experience with Linux/Windows, scripting, and IDAM integration. A strong collaboration mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree and experience as specified; higher degrees considered in lieu of experience.
• Top-Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility required.
• Strong Linux/Windows system-building and automation experience.
• Experience with Ansible playbooks for deployment and patching.
• Scripting in Bash or Python for automation tasks.
• Experience with IDAM integrations and PKI infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security hardening and SELinux.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Develop Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning and patching.
• Create system documentation: concepts, requirements, specs, interfaces.
• Support lifecycle activities across development, test, and operations.
• Collaborate on architecture, scaling, and design decisions.
• Assist with security hardening, PKI issues, and monitoring.
