Job summary

Alchemy is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and improve the platform powering our blockchain developer ecosystem, serving 100+ chains and billions of daily requests.

You will operate scalable, multi-region cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform, drive AI enablement with Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex, and build observability and automation. You’ll lead incident reviews, define SLOs, and mentor the team to shipping reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating reliable infrastructure for production systems.
• Strong observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Deep knowledge of multi-region cloud architectures (AWS/GCP).
• Hands-on Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
• Experience building AI-enabled tooling and developer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate scalable, self-healing infrastructure across multi-region deployments.
• Drive AI enablement across engineering using agentic tools.
• Build AI-powered tooling for IaC analysis, cost optimization, and automation.
• Develop internal platform capabilities for self-service deployments, observability, and reliability.
• Lead incident management with blameless post-mortems and define SLOs/SLIs.
