Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Software Engineer for the Virtual Networking Gateways team to design, build, and test automation for OCI networking fleets, using Terraform and Python. You will contribute to deployment pipelines, write tests, and create and maintain operational runbooks for reliability and efficiency.

You will triage requests from partner service teams, assess fleet-scale impact, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of virtual networking and fleet-scale systems.
• Ability to own well-scoped tasks with limited direction.
• Experience with automation, testing, and runbooks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate within the team to align on requirements and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot issues and review data to resolve standard and non-standard errors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tooling.
