Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer in Lincoln, NE. The role focuses on deploying, provisioning, hardening, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and related services for internal stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities include building scalable cloud services, designing secure compute/storage networks, managing IAM and security groups, and scripting for provisioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• CSP Associate level cloud certification/s in AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Professional level certification a plus.
• 8-15 years of IT experience with a mix of roles.
• 3-4 years of cloud engineering experience with one or more vendor platforms.
• 4+ years debugging Windows or Linux in admin/support/engineering capacity.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy new cloud-based computing services at scale for clients.
• Provide timely provisioning of new hosts.
• Create network/storage/compute design specs for secure operations.
• Manage cloud services: IAM, Security Groups, CSP native services.
• Use IaC, CI/CD, architecture reviews to manage cloud infra.
• Develop scripts/templates for provisioning resources.
• Translate high-level objectives into technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain environment/network documentation.
• Serve as client liaison in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
• Identify and plan potential new cloud services and capabilities.
