Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a cloud engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure for government clients in Austin. You will implement IaC, manage IAM and security groups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable services.

Responsibilities include scripting for provisioning, CI/CD, and documenting best practices. You will engage with clients to ensure requirements are met and help identify new cloud services and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• CSP Associate cloud certs (AWS/Azure/OCI/Google Cloud).
• Professional level certification a plus.
• 8-15 years IT experience with a mix, including 3-4 years cloud engineering.
• 4+ years debugging Windows or Linux in admin/support/engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and optimize cloud services for clients with scalable provisioning.
• Define network, storage, and compute design specs for secure operations.
• Manage cloud services: IAM, Security Groups, CSP native services.
• Apply infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and architecture reviews.
• Develop scripts/templates for provisioning and configuration.
• Collaborate to translate objectives into technical requirements.
• Review deployment requirements with teams and clients for support.
• Create documentation for cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Serve as client liaison in meetings to ensure needs are met.
• Identify and plan potential new cloud services and features.
