Cogent Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud foundations.

The role collaborates daily with NYPA IT to implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible across AWS, Azure, or GCP, optimize costs and security, and ensure reliable platform operations. The candidate should have cloud platform mastery, IaC experience, and strong networking, Windows, and Linux knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cloud and systems related certifications.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong networking, Windows, and Linux fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated scripts (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to deploy cloud resources.
• Support DevOps teams building pipelines for automated delivery.
• Maintain consistency with immutability principles to reduce drift.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and plan capacity.
• Diagnose and resolve cloud-related outages with minimal disruption.
• Set up monitoring and alerting with Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production support and maintenance.

Position Summary

This Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role will participate in designs, builds, and maintenance of scalable foundations for cloud applications and infrastructure. They will collaborate across NYPA IT daily to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manage and provision systems and services, and optimize costs and security across major platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated scripts (using tools like Terraform or Ansible) to deploy cloud resources.
• Assist DevOps teams by supporting developers that build pipelines that enable rapid, reliable, and automated application delivery.
• Maintain consistency across environments by using immutable infrastructure principles, reducing deployment drift.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and execute capacity planning.
• Diagnose and resolve complex, cloud-related issues during outages with minimal disruption to services.
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production services, perform root cause analysis, and handle routine maintenance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• College Degree Cloud and systems related certifications.
• Cloud Platform Mastery (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong foundational knowledge of networking, Windows, and Linux systems.
