Job summary

MatchPoint Solutions is seeking an Engineer: Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture to lead cloud adoption initiatives and design future cloud-based solutions. You will manage both cloud and on‑premise infrastructure and serve as an escalation point for IT Operations.

The role emphasizes implementing secure, scalable architectures, training teams, and driving automation across platforms. Strong communication and collaboration with Platform Engineering and vendor partners are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, IT, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, required.
• Experience transforming on-premise to cloud environments.
• Global/ multicountry work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based and future solutions.
• Act as escalation point for IT Operations on complex issues.
• Manage cloud and on‑premise infrastructure following security policies.
• Educate teams on new cloud initiatives and provide training as needed.
• Optimize cloud resource usage balancing performance and cost.
• Develop and deploy modular cloud-based systems and automations.
