Job summary

MatchPoint Solutions is seeking a Cloud and Infrastructure Architect to lead design and delivery of cloud-first infrastructure initiatives. The role focuses on private datacentre, on-prem to cloud transformation, and automation across global environments.

Experience with Azure, Terraform, and automation is required, with strong security practices and IT governance. Hybrid work arrangement across multiple cities is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in on-premise to cloud transformation.
• Experience working in a global environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture

Chicago, IL/ New York, NY/ Houston, TX/ Washington, DC (Hybrid, any location)

Duration: Long-term

Rate: $ 70- 90/hr (Depends on experience)

Education/professional experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field. A combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, required
• Prior experience in on-premise to cloud transformation
• Prior experience working in a global environment, preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Private cloud datacentre, including VMware, Cisco UCS, Dell EMC, required
• Knowledge of Information Security best practices, required
• Experience automating into public cloud providers, required
• Assessing cloud environments for drift and misconfiguration and remediation workflows implementation via automation, required
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, required
• Experience with Azure Migrate
• Windows Server and associated infrastructure (e.g. AD), preferred
• PowerShell, preferred
• Terraform, preferred
