Position Overview

Brave is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect to support a major U.S. Federal Health Agency in a long‑term modernization initiative.

This role will lead architecture strategy and implementation across a multicloud environment (OCI, Azure, AWS, with planned GCP expansion) supporting regulated healthcare systems and high‑availability federal workloads.

This is a permanent, strategic role, not contract staffing.

Required Certifications
  • OCI 2025 Architect Professional
  • OCI 2025 Multicloud Architect Professional
  • Willingness to obtain GCP Professional Cloud Architect within 6–12 months
Key Responsibilities

Multicloud Infrastructure Architecture

  • Design secure, scalable architectures across OCI, Azure, AWS
  • Develop inter‑cloud networking, identity federation, and workload portability strategies
  • Architect hybrid connectivity (FastConnect, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, IPSec VPN)

Federal Health Environment

  • Design cloud landing zones aligned with federal compliance requirements
  • Implement encryption, logging, monitoring, and audit‑ready architectures
  • Support secure data handling in regulated healthcare environments

Platform & Database Modernization

  • Lead Oracle workload migrations (RAC, Data Guard, Exadata)
  • Architect high availability and disaster recovery across regions
  • Optimize performance and cloud cost models

Automation & Governance

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Policy‑as‑code governance implementation
  • CI/CD integration and DevOps alignment

Security Architecture

  • Design IAM models with least privilege enforcement
  • Implement encryption with customer‑managed keys
  • Deploy cloud‑native security services and guardrails

GCP Expansion Strategy

  • Participate in evaluation and onboarding of GCP workloads
  • Develop internal multicloud standards and reference architectures
  • Create repeatable patterns for future agency expansion
Required Experience
  • 12+ years enterprise infrastructure engineering
  • 5+ years cloud architecture experience
  • Strong OCI architecture experience (production‑grade)
  • Experience designing large and complex secure cloud environments in regulated industries
  • Experience supporting federal or healthcare programs preferred
  • Automation experience (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD)
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting U.S. Federal Agencies
  • Public Trust or federal clearance eligibility
  • Kubernetes and containerized platform architecture
  • Cloud cost optimization and FinOps strategy
