Job summary

Eqvilent is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide technical support and administration across cloud and on‑prem environments. This role serves researchers, developers, and business teams across the Americas and APAC, delivering practical infrastructure solutions and timely issue resolution.

The position emphasizes hands‑on AWS and Kubernetes (AWS EKS), automation, and strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years of IT support and engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
• Experience with Jira Service Management or ServiceNow.
• Scripting in Bash or Python for automation tasks.
• Strong English communication and collaboration across time zones.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi).
• Willingness to work across Americas or APAC time zones.
• ITIL familiarity or related certifications (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support for cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues including VPN and DNS.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Document procedures and maintain knowledge base.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades.
• Support enterprise platforms and critical systems across regions.
