Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support O&M and development for a federal client. The role requires designing and implementing AWS-based solutions, FedRamp GovCloud management, and close collaboration with government stakeholders.

You will lead architecture efforts, guide engineers, and ensure logging, monitoring, and runbooks are maintained. In-office presence at Tyson's Corner, VA is required at least 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in Enterprise IT or 10+ years without a degree.
• Proficiency designing and implementing AWS solutions.
• Experience managing AWS resources in FedRamp GovCloud.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with government officials.
• Ability to solve problems and translate needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing cloud resources and recommend performance improvements.
• Guide engineers on best practices to support fluctuating demands.
• Collaborate with government IT ops on upgrades and integrations.
• Periodic on-call support among the team.
• Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and metrics.
