Job summary

State of Maine's Office of Information Technology seeks a skilled IT professional to manage Exchange, Active Directory, and cloud environments including Azure and AWS. You will support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and IAM with a collaborative team in Augusta, with on‑call rotation and telework options after probation.

You will work to uphold security, reliability, and efficiency across enterprise services, contributing to 24x7 operations and enterprise hosting for Maine agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Azure and AWS.
• Experience with M365 in a corporate environment.
• Strong Windows Server Administration and Active Directory skills.
• Experience implementing and supporting IAM and security controls.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Exchange, Active Directory, File System Management and 365 services.
• Support cloud hosting environments with a focus on Azure and AWS.
• Provide 24x7 on‑call support within the CIS Group.
• Implement system upgrades and ensure security and compliance.
• Assist with virtualization, backups, and disaster recovery.
