Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on cloud-native experience with AWS or GCP
• Advanced Python proficiency
• Experience with API development and integrations
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Experience designing enterprise security solutions in Financial Services or large complex/global environments
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and own parts of a project
• Certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer desirable
• Must pass a Karat Assessment - Python focused

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional cloud teams to define and implement IAM roles and policies for cloud services
• Define and develop security controls to ensure IAM implementations meet cloud security standards
• Build automation and libraries to enable developers to create IAM identities and permissions via self-service
• Develop Python-based frameworks for security control orchestration and detection/response workflows
• Develop integrations with cloud services and security tooling
• Contribute to preventative and detective security controls
• Write and maintain automated unit tests and integration/behavioral tests
• Support CI/CD integration and continuous validation of controls
• Collaborate with Security Controls Engineers, Threat Modelers, and Cloud Architects
