Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced Infrastructure Governance leader to guide a team of Cloud Engineers and drive policy enforcement across CSPM, firewall rules, and security operations. The role emphasizes risk-based governance, regulatory alignment, and accelerated remediation across GCP, Azure, and AWS.

You will partner with Enterprise Tech and InfoSec to strengthen SOX/HIPAA/HITRUST controls, deliver governance metrics, and support regulatory audits. Remote nationwide opportunity.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in security governance, cloud security engineering, or an equivalent technical risk management role preferred.
• Leadership experience mentoring or directing engineering professionals.
• Hands-on knowledge of multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Working knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF).
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, SOX, and GDPR.
• Experience using GRC platforms, ServiceNow, and cloud-native security tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Cloud Engineers, fostering professional growth and proactive risk exposure management.
• Expand governance scope beyond CSPM to include policy enforcement, vulnerability, data, and application security management.
• Champion Automation & AI to deliver real-time compliance results and accelerate auto-remediation of cloud risks.
• Govern Firewall Rule Policies to ensure alignment with network standards and certify all in-scope firewalls.
• Oversee CSPM and cloud-native security solutions across GCP, Azure, and AWS with continuous monitoring.
