Job summary

ROGII is seeking a Migration Lead to partner with upstream oil & gas customers, learning how data is stored, transformed, and moved to cloud. You will map workflows, identify gaps, and translate needs into actionable roadmaps for product and engineering.

This self-driven role requires strong SQL/data migration experience, excellent communication, and willingness to travel to customer sites as you help scale our cloud-native geoscience platform.

Qualifications

• Strong IT and database background with SQL, relational data modeling, and on-prem DB experience.
• Experience with data migration and ETL in enterprise environments.
• Solid knowledge of upstream oil & gas data (well data, logs, interpretation, regulatory data).

Responsibilities

• Learn how customers store and use data and translate into migration roadmaps.
• Identify data sources, customizations, and map to cloud for migration.
• Define requirements for product teams and validate migration plans.
• Coordinate across sales, customer success, and product to align needs.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to assess and support migrations.
