Job summary

Ledgent Technology seeks a Cloud & Systems Administrator in Eden Prairie, MN to support a Microsoft-centric environment. This onsite role blends on-prem Windows/AD with cloud initiatives, managing Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and security controls while driving automation with PowerShell.

The position is full-time, onsite, with salary up to $80,000 and a focus on modernization of infrastructure and cloud-first strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management practices.
• Understanding of Microsoft security technologies, identity management, and access controls.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives.
• PowerShell scripting or automation experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
• Manage Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related core services.
• Maintain user access, identity management, single sign-on configurations, permissions, and application integrations.
• Expand and manage endpoint administration through Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, compliance policies, application deployment, and Autopilot provisioning.
• Assist in migrating systems and identity services from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions.
• Implement and maintain security controls such as Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, passwordless authentication, and identity protection.
• Administer Microsoft security platforms, including Defender technologies used to protect endpoints and users.
• Support system availability through monitoring, backup management, recovery planning, and overall infrastructure reliability initiatives.
• Evaluate opportunities to modernize, consolidate, or migrate existing technologies to cloud-based services.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft administration tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving infrastructure, endpoints, cloud services, applications, and user access.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in change management and disaster recovery processes.
