Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Java Full Stack AWS Engineer for onsite work in Jersey City, NJ. You will design scalable AWS cloud solutions leveraging EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and other services, while building modern web apps with React/TypeScript and Java/Spring Boot.

You will create CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation, drive security and performance, and collaborate with enterprise teams on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS expertise across EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Aurora, MSK, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, networking, and security services.
• Hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures at enterprise scale.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines with a strong grasp of cloud-native engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS-based cloud solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Build modern, responsive, workflow-driven web applications supporting 10,000+ concurrent users using React front ends and Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and automated deployment frameworks to accelerate software delivery.
• Drive reliability, security, and performance engineering including monitoring, observability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience across cloud platforms.
