Job summary

SMX is seeking a solutions architect to document design and implementation of high-quality technological solutions and architecture models. You will produce comprehensive design documentation and guidance across the SDLC, aligning teams to ensure secure, modular cloud environments.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar role, active Top Secret clearance, and AWS certification. You will analyze project scopes, recommend improvements, and leverage DevSecOps and GenAI tools to maintain

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a solution architect or related role.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• AWS certification.
• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Deep familiarity with cloud architecture, including hybrid multi-cloud target architectures and operating models.
• Experience with data migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Experience with AI code conversion and an understanding of GenAI-related code quality tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to interface with customers.
• A self-starter who is detail-oriented, can work with minimal supervision, and consistently produces quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to document high-quality technological solutions and architecture models.
• Document system designs that feature open architecture, incorporating modularity to consolidate sub-systems into secure cloud environments.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to support development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write comprehensive design, sizing, and operational documentation.
• Analyze existing project scopes and processes to recommend and implement improvements.
• Leverage DevSecOps principles and stay current with new technologies and third-party applications to solve complex problems.
