Job summary

SMX is seeking a candidate to document design and architecture for secure, open, modular cloud solutions. The role includes technical assistance to development teams, documenting secure cloud environments, and coordinating across teams for better communication.

The successful candidate will write design, sizing, and operational docs, analyze project scopes for improvements, and apply DevSecOps practices while staying current with GenAI tools. Top Secret clearance and AWS cert are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in a solution architect or related role.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• AWS certification.
• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Deep familiarity with cloud architecture, including hybrid multi-cloud target architectures and operating models.
• Experience with data migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Experience with AI code conversion and an understanding of GenAI-related code quality tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to interface with customers.
• A self-starter who is detail-oriented, can work with minimal supervision, and consistently produces quality deliverables.

SMX is seeking a candidate that is able to work with technical teams to document the design and implementation of high-quality technological solutions and architecture models. This role involves providing technical assistance to development teams, documenting secure cloud environments, and ensuring system designs incorporate open architecture and modularity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing comprehensive design documentation, analyzing project scopes to recommend improvements, and coordinating across teams to ensure technical alignment and optimize communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to document high-quality technological solutions and architecture models.

The proposed salary for this position is:

$105,100—$175,000 USD
