Job summary

BKV Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape and evolve its cloud-first technology strategy across Azure/AWS, enabling scalable, secure platforms for growth and acquisition integration.

You will partner with corporate, operational, and field teams to standardize architecture, drive data governance, and oversee security-by-design practices while guiding budgeting and long-range technology planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience across infrastructure, applications, and/or data domains.
• 5+ years in enterprise, solution, or platform architecture roles delivering standards and roadmaps.
• Experience in oil & gas, energy, or asset-intensive industries.
• TOGAF, Azure/AWS Architect, CISSP (or similar).
• Familiarity with production accounting, land systems, or regulatory reporting platforms.
• Experience building architecture function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud-first architecture strategy (Azure/AWS/Google), ensuring scalability and cost optimization.
• Define enterprise application strategy (ERP, land systems, accounting, SCADA/OT integration).
• Lead master data and data governance strategy.
• Promote API-first and integration-platform strategies.
• Support analytics, reporting, and operational data visibility initiatives.
• Drive lifecycle management and cloud cost governance.
• Ensure architecture aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements (SOX, SOC 2, NERC CIP).
• Reduce enterprise risk through modernization and standardization.
• Lead budgeting and long-range technology planning.
• Provide guidance on emerging technologies for oil & gas (AI, digital field, predictive maintenance).
• Lead IT due diligence for acquisitions and integration roadmaps.
