Job summary

Health Care and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an Applications Systems Engineer to manage a Microsoft-focused infrastructure, cloud services, SQL databases, and enterprise applications. The role emphasizes a cloud-first strategy, automation, and strong escalation support for IT operations.

You will administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows devices, and hybrid environments while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in Microsoft systems administration or a related role.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows devices.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Experience with SQL Server and database administration concepts.
• PowerShell scripting or automation experience for repeatable tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, change management, and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of identity, endpoint, and data security practices, including least privilege.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Manage users, licensing, roles, and enterprise applications with access controls.
• Support Azure administration, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for provisioning, onboarding, and remediation.
• Collaborate with clinical, finance, HR, and IT teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Provide escalation support for complex Microsoft service and device issues.
• Ensure documentation, testing, and change control are followed.
