Job summary

Vidoori is seeking an IT Project Manager (FinOps) to lead cloud cost management initiatives and drive value across technology and business projects. You will govern FinOps programs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable cost improvements.

The role focuses on optimizing cloud spend, improving cost visibility, and implementing governance frameworks to ensure financial accountability and successful digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT, technology, cloud, infrastructure, digital transformation, or financial management projects.
• Understanding of FinOps concepts including inform, optimise, operate.
• Experience with scope, schedule, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder communications.
• Knowledge of cloud billing concepts and cost allocation across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead FinOps and IT cost management projects across cloud, infrastructure, and digital environments.
• Define objectives, scope, milestones, budgets, risks, and resources with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud engineering, DevOps, and finance.
• Establish FinOps operating models, governance, and accountability structures.
• Drive cost visibility, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting improvements.
• Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization and service rationalization.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technology deliverables.
• Monitor progress, budgets, benefits, risks, and dependencies; provide status reporting.
• Facilitate meetings, steering groups, and stakeholder reviews.
• Support procurement activities and vendor deliverables when required.
