The role requires deep Azure expertise, hands-on Apptio Cloudability, and partnerships with engineering, finance, procurement, and operations to drive cost accountability and ROI through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with cloud financial management.
• Deep expertise in Azure Cost Management and Billing, budgets, and reservations.
• Hands-on experience with Apptio Cloudability including cost allocation and dashboards.
• Knowledge of GCP Billing, budgets, and optimization.
• Familiarity with FinOps framework and showback/chargeback models.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills (Power BI, Excel, SQL).
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure and GCP cloud cost analysis, optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and governance.
• Manage Azure Reservations, Savings Plans, budgets, reports, and Advisor recommendations.
• Support GCP billing analysis, budgets, committed use discounts, and resource optimization.
• Develop showback/chargeback models, tagging standards, and executive reports.
• Identify idle or underutilized resources and quantify savings.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, finance, procurement, and operations to drive cost accountability.
• Provide cost models, TCO, ROI, and scenario analysis for cloud migrations.
