Job summary

Genius Business Solutions Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Vertex Consultant to lead Vertex tax solution implementations with a strong focus on EMEA taxation requirements within Oracle Cloud ERP environments.

You will collaborate with finance, tax, and ERP teams to design, configure, test, and deploy indirect tax solutions, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting VAT, GST, and other indirect tax processes.

Qualifications

• Proven Vertex implementation experience.
• Deep knowledge of EMEA taxation and indirect tax regulations.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP environments.
• Strong understanding of VAT and cross-border tax requirements.
• Experience working with multinational organizations and global tax processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Vertex implementation and enhancement projects.
• Configure Vertex tax engines to support EMEA tax requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable tax technology solutions.
• Support VAT, GST, and other indirect tax processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and ERP teams to ensure accurate tax determination and reporting.
• Design and test interfaces between Vertex and Oracle ERP applications.
• Participate in solution architecture, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot tax calculation and compliance issues.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, and testing artifacts.
• Ensure tax processes align with evolving regulatory requirements and business objectives.
