Job summary

Imagineeer LLC seeks a Cloud Environment Lead to build and secure a contractor-provided sandbox for integration, data-movement, and security testing of federal civilian tools. The sandbox runs in a FedRAMP-authorized cloud region, uses synthetic data, and is delivered as infrastructure-as-code to stand up in the agency's own account.

You will own the environment and hosting checkpoint in the firm's decision methodology: does the sandbox meet agency security standards, and can it be handed over

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10 or more years of systems engineering experience, including at least 5 years building secure cloud environments in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• Experience implementing NIST SP 800-53 controls and CIS benchmarks in FedRAMP-authorized cloud regions.
• Experience supporting federal security assessments or ATO efforts.
• Ability to pass the client's contractor security vetting and obtain and maintain a PIV credential; this role may carry a higher position risk designation.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.

Experience delivering environments to federal clients for deployment in agency accounts.
