Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Security Architect within Global Security Organization to design and implement security architectures across data centers, cloud, and networks. You will embed automated controls, drive threat modeling, and validate security via CI/CD pipelines in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

You\'ll collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to raise security maturity, align with policies and regulations, and help protect TikTok\'s platform for over a billion users

Qualifications

• Design and implement security controls across Hybrid/Multi-Cloud environments (Data Centers, AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Hands-on experience with cloud security tooling (CSPM, CNAPP, CASB, DLP).
• Knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment, and validation techniques.
• Ability to automate security implementations and validations via tools or scripting.
• Familiarity with frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (GDPR, SOX).

Responsibilities

• Own security architecture and control frameworks across self-built data centers and multiple clouds.
• Implement defense-in-depth controls across IaaS, PaaS, containers, and IAM.
• Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews to mitigate risks before production.
• Embed automated security scanning, policy-as-code, and gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Build scalable IaC to enforce security baselines and reduce drift.
• Partner with engineering, infra, and business teams to shift security left.
• Drive control maturity with assessments and automation-focused roadmap.
• Design and mature cloud network security controls, including VPCs, micro-segmentation, and logging.
