Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Cloud Engineering Intern for an 11-week onsite Summer internship, primarily in Lake County, IL, with potential placements at other AbbVie or Allergan Aesthetics locations across the U.S. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to design, troubleshoot, and deliver technical solutions while gaining hands-on experience in cloud platforms and DevOps tooling.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI or related majors with a minor or concentration in one of the above fields
• Graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028
• Must be enrolled in university the semester following your internship and graduate within 1-year post internship

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents to keep platforms running smoothly
• Partner with business and IT teams to deliver enhancements and integrations
• Support the improvement of platform performance, scalability, and reliability
• Help track milestones, coordinate teams, and support on-time delivery
• Maintain documentation, support testing and deployment, and follow IT governance requirements
• Assess risk and support cybersecurity and data protection with business, vendor, and technical teams
