Job summary

AbbVie invites students to join the 2027 Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Internship as Cloud Engineering Intern. You will help keep platforms running, design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions, and work with IT and business teams on improvements, integrations, and governance.

This 11-week onsite internship may be located in Lake County, IL or other AbbVie/Allergan Aesthetics sites in the U.S. Applicants should be pursuing a STEM degree and ready to graduate within a year after the

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI or related majors with a minor or concentration in one of the above fields
• Graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028
• Must be enrolled in university the semester following your internship and graduate within 1-year post internship

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents to keep platforms running smoothly
• Partner with business and IT teams to deliver enhancements and integrations
• Support the improvement of platform performance, scalability, and reliability
• Help track milestones, coordinate teams, and support on-time delivery
• Maintain documentation, support testing and deployment, and follow IT governance requirements
• Assess risk and support cybersecurity and data protection with business, vendor, and technical teams
